Lap Cat Studio grew from a simple love of making things—and having more creative ideas than I know what to do with.

Now that I’m retired, I get to spend my days sewing, designing, experimenting, and turning beautiful materials into useful little things for everyday life.

My style is a mix of modern cottage, cozy textures, pretty details, and a little whimsy. You’ll find totes, home goods, paper goods, bookish finds, gifts, and whatever else has caught my creative attention lately.

Most pieces are made in small batches, so the shop is always evolving. And if you like the Lap Cat Studio vibe but don’t see quite the thing you’re looking for, I’m always happy to consider a custom project.

Above all, I love making things that feel special without being fussy—thoughtfully handmade pieces that bring a little personality, usefulness, and joy to everyday life.
